Our twice weathered coping stones are precast concrete with a central ridge from which both faces fall away, shedding water evenly on both sides. Available in widths from 150mm to 600mm (all at 600mm length, with a 900×170mm option also listed), they suit boundary walls, garden walls, and anywhere a traditional apex profile is specified. All are made to order to ensure colour and mix consistency across the run.
Twice weathered is the standard choice when a wall is exposed on both faces — the symmetric profile prevents water pooling and channels runoff away from both sides of the wall head. It's the most widely specified coping profile in residential and estate construction, and compatible with both brick and blockwork builds. If your wall is freestanding, twice weathered is almost always the correct specification over flat or once weathered alternatives.
The range covers widths from 150mm to 600mm (all at 600mm length, plus a 900×170mm option). The standard height profile is 75–50mm (centre to edge). The 300mm width is available in three height options — 50–30mm, 75–50mm, and 90–40mm — making it the most versatile size in the range. The 375mm width is available in a 100–50mm profile. All are made to order; lead time is 2–3 weeks.
All twice weathered copings are cast from the same concrete mix design regardless of width, so colours and surface finish are consistent across an order that spans multiple sizes. If you require matching mortar or a colour-matched dye for jointing, these are available separately. Order colour samples first if you are specifying for a visible wall — samples are delivered within 2–3 days.
