We manufacture a range of precast concrete coping stones here in Rutland, covering flat, once weathered, twice weathered, chamfered edge, and decorative profiles. All products are cast to order using the same concrete mix design throughout the range, so colours and texture remain consistent whether you're buying flat copings or a more detailed Victorian-style profile. Widths from 150mm to 700mm are available across the range, with bespoke sizing on request.
The right profile depends on your wall construction and the finish you want. Flat copings suit modern builds and retaining walls where a clean horizontal line is the priority. Once weathered copings shed water to one side, making them suited to boundary walls where one face is more exposed. Twice weathered profiles shed water both ways from a central ridge — the traditional choice for garden walls and estate work. Decorative profiles including Georgian Edge, Millstone, and York Stone replicate period styles in precast concrete.
All coping stones are made to order with a standard lead time of 2–3 weeks from the date of order. Standard lengths are 600mm (530mm for the York Stone profile), with widths across the range running from 150mm to 700mm depending on the profile. Height profiles vary by style: flat copings are typically 50mm, once weathered 75–50mm, twice weathered 50–30mm to 100–50mm. Bespoke dimensions are available on request — contact us before ordering to confirm feasibility.
